Update
I haven't posted in a while but here is the current state of Dixieland Gumbo. Live365 has bumped up the storage space for broadcasters and now I have 500 tracks in the playlist. It is currently sitting at 34 hours long so in theory you shouldn't hear the same track twice in any one day's time.
The bad part about having 500 tracks is that it is more difficult to find the corrupted songs in the playlist so I'm going to depend on you, the listeners, to help me find and fix these problems.
Thanks for listening to Dixieland Gumbo.

I have to check my playlist better
I'm sorry to all the trad listeners to my station. I didn't realize that a Nickolas Payton modern jazz track had slipped through the cracks. I'll make a note to myself to make sure to check what CD tracks I'm loading. Payton does play trad and big band, that is why he is on station.
Again, I'm sorry for the sore ears.

Added a new artist yesterday
The new artist is Mark Allen Jones. He really isn't a new artist just to Dixieland Gumbo. If you like Ragtime piano, you will like Mark's music. I added songs from four of his CDs to the mix.

Stopped & Restarted broadcast
Stopped & Restarted broadcast today at 10:25a.m. pst.
I heard a Sidney Bechet tune that was corrupted so I deleted it on the spot and restarted the broadcast. Sorry about any inconvenience.

Thanks
Just a word of thanks to all the people that listen to Dixieland Gumbo. The station continues to grow in popularity despite the overall (and inaccurate) opinion that this genre is just your grandpa's music, filled with bands in striped shirts, red vests and straw hats. More people are discovering that this music can be pretty exciting.
Thanks again,
Dave
